Domaine RUETThe story of 4 generations of winegrowers.

From 1926 to 1948
The family estate was founded by Joseph Brunet, Katy Ruet Duthel's great-grandfather. He worked as a labourer on the land's farm and later shared plots of vineyard with them.
1926
From 1948 to 1989
The husband of Marie-Jeanne Brunet (Katy's grandparent), Jean Ruet, took over the business and initiated the marketing of bulk and bottled wines.
1948
From 1962 to 2010
Jean-Paul Ruet joined the family estate in 1962. With his passion for wine, he developed the estate with Christiane, his wife, by building the vat house in 1985 and developing export sales.
He brings his knowledge of vine growing and wine making to the table.
1962
From 2010 to now
Katy & David have taken over the Domaine, bringing in new designations such as white Burgundy, Crémant de Bourgogne and Chiroubles.
David manages the work in the vineyard and the winemaking, respecting the environment. The estate is certified under the HEV charter and will soon obtain the AB certification label.
Katy is responsible for welcoming you to the winery, managing the administrative side of the estate and developing export sales.

The wines are tasted and made by four hands, David's knowledge and Katy's touch of femininity.
Looping, the estate's caretaker and vineyard companion, is not to be forgotten.
