Katy, David and Looping Katy and David Duthel, owners of Domaine RUET

Domaine Ruet, run by Katy Duthel and her husband David Duthel, operates a 20 hectares vineyard that stretches across beautifully south-facing slopes.

Katy Daughter of Jean-Paul Ruet

Jean-Paul Ruet, who is himself a descendant of winegrowers, Katy studied management. She married David in 2005 and together they took over the family business in 2010.

Katy takes care of the administrative side of the business, including the sale and export of their wines to numerous countries.

David comes from the wine industry

He, too, comes from the wine industry. After Katy and David,bought some plots of land, they diversified the Domaine Ruet.

The work in the vineyard and the production of his wines represent a large part of his time, but he also gives his time to the development of Beaujolais through numerous events and tastings..
