Vineyard and terroirs Environmentally responsible production
At the foot of the outstanding terroir of Brouilly, at Cercié our 20 hectare estate stretches across beautifully south-facing slopes. The granitic, stony and shallow soils of the Nord-Beaujolais are found here, characterised by their ability to produce high quality wines.
Each plot is carefully cared for and nothing is left to chance. The implementation of a reasoned production process illustrates the will to respect the environment, natural regulation and observation. It is through careful work on the plots that David brings out the marriage of the soil and the Gamay noir grapes for the red wines and the Chardonnay for the white wines.

Morgon Douby
The soil is composed of red slate on the surface, which gives the place its name (Terrain Rouge), with a clay-silt subsoil.
Cote de Brouilly Brulhié;
Soils with more than 30% slope with a south-south-east exposure, clay soil on blue rock.

On the southern slope of the Cote du Py, the hamlet is renowned for the complexity of its terroir, which produces rich wines and expresses the quintessence of Morgon.

Located in the south of the Cote du Py, the Grand Cras climate is one of the most complex terroirs of the Morgon designation. It is composed of schist, manganese and composite rocks.
